Keeping Track of Your Game Collection’s Value

Graded. So today Nicole and I were at the mall and found a great deal on some old games from my childhood for the NES.  Namely Gun Smoke, Faxanadu, and Dr. Mario.  As it turns out ,I got an incredible deal on these and about 5 more that I don’t feel like listing, getting them all for around 10 bucks.  Not too shabby, but while I was buying these old games, I used my iPhone to try looking up the value.  I came across a really cool site, http://www.videogamepricecharts.com that gives you an idea of how much or how little you ought to be paying for a game and they’ve got an outstanding listing of everything from the classics all the way up through the current generation.  It’s also very mobile browser friendly if you’re out somewhere and want to know what the true value of that copy of NCAA College Basketball 2K3 for Gamecube truly is. (hint: a LOT)

I love the old NES stuff. Emulators+ROMs FTW! Oh, and an old Nintendo controller converted to USB? Awesome!

@azazel LoL, I had a buddy in college who actually built a PC into an NES case and if you’re wondering; yes, it was as awesome as it sounds :p
