Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition Includes Night Vision Goggles!

Posted by: Joshua In: Games

Goggles While this officially takes the cake as the most badass collector’s edition I’ve ever seen, I’m curious about the quality of the aforementioned NVGs.  Sure it’s the coolest thing to ever be packed in with a video game (short of my beloved Big Daddy figurine), but how much is this bad boy gonna cost us?  While there are definite bragging rights to be had with having this on display with the rest of your swag, I don’t wanna have to take out a loan just for the pleasure.  I’ll update this post as soon as I have the pricing down, but it also comes with an artbook, the hardened collector’s edition of the game, a redeemable code to download the re-release of the original Call of Duty, and a brand-spanking new set of night vision goggles.  Below is a video of Infinity Ward community manager, Robert Bowling unboxing the first one off the line for your enjoyment.

It’s $150 at bestbuy currently.

Although I’m willing to bet the “NVG”s are nothing more than this cheap crap here:

*REAL* NVGs are far more expensive.

  • Nicole: Welcome :) I hope you enjoyed writing with us! We'd love to do more guest posts. If I knew more about Magic strategy I'd probably understand this post
  • Joshua: @JB Ahem, I had Reassembling Skeletons there the whole time! See? I uh, meant to do that...yeah... :p
  • JB: Just to let you know, with your comments about Demon of Death's Gate, you can't regenerate creatures that you sacrifice. So Dredge Skeletons wouldn't
