Like Silent Hill, World of Warcraft, BioShock or any of my other all-time favorites, I will constantly be keeping a tab on Borderlands because I’m so in love with it. And here is the first big news involving the game since its release a few weeks ago.
“The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned” will contain all new quests, enemies and items. Apparently, Dr. Ned’s skillz as a medic failed him when it came to the workers at Jakob’s Cove and ended up transforming them into zombies. Your job is to aid him in curing the undead creatures. In the new DLC you’ll encounter dudes that look like the Frankenstein thing from the picture and even “Were-Skags”. We at Geekspodcast are obligated to buy any video game or DLC containing zombie-like creatures.
Starting November 24 PS3 and XBOX 360-ers will be able to pick this up for $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft points). There are currently no details on the PC version yet, but who really wants to play Borderlands on PC?
