Archer, the anticipated new animated show from the fine people that brought us Frisky Dingo debuted their first episode tonight on FX.  I was really bummed out upon the cancellation of Frisky Dingo and even the spin-off, The Extacles, so I was extremely excited when I heard that Adam Reed was making a new show.  The plot centers around Sterling Archer, secret agent of ISIS whose boss is his mother.  Working side by side with a smattering of other hilarious characters, he’s almost like Xander Crews re-incarnated with a deeper voice.  He’s not overly bright, is a womanizer, and abuses his position to personal gain, but is so lovable in his own idiotic way that you can’t help but enjoy it.  It airs Thursdays at 10:00pm EST.
