It was pretty heartbreaking for me last year when my favorite band, Panic! at the Disco, announced they were splitting up because of ‘creative differences’. The good news is that Ryan Ross and Jon Walker, two of the former members, also declared that they would be writing music together and forming their own band, and together with their three newest members (Nick Murray, Andy Soukal and Nick White), comprise The Young Veins.
Lucky for us Columbus-dwellers, we will get to hear the fabulous new tunes The Young Veins has to offer us when they stop by The Basement on their new North American tour. They’ll be promoting their new album, Take a Vacation, and opening for the Cincinnati-based rock group, Foxy Shazam. You’ll find me waiting outside The Basement on April 7th.
