Ever since I watched this video about the technology used for L.A. Noire, I’ve been wringing my hands in anticipation.  While it looks like a retro Heavy Rain, Rockstar rarely disappoints and I’m excited to see their take on a detective experience.  I’ll be honest, when I get this on day one I’m going to be hard pressed to be unbiased in my review. That’s because this is easily my most anticipated game for 2011.  Having this level of emotion available in (sort of) real-time within a game not just as a novelty, but as a pivotal gameplay mechanic.
