I’m sure like many other college students across the globe, I have been sleep and fun deprived for the last week (minus Josh’s birthday) because I have been studying for finals. After almost missing both of my final times (one because I mixed up the times, the second because I didn’t wake up), today was my first day of complete relaxation. What did I do? Slept in, got creative on Garage Band, enjoyed lunch at Mongolian Barbecue, bought a bunch of Chuck Palahniuk books, paid a visit to the Apple store, and now I am working on my website. Needless to say, it is time, fellow college kids and everyone else for that matter, to enjoy summer and nerd out. I was checking out some apple sites today regarding the new MacBook I picked up yesterday and discovered that Apple has just started their back to school special. I’ll admit I find it odd that Apple chose to do this when most students are just getting out of school, but what do I know? In a nutshell, if you’re a student and you purchase a new Mac you also receive a free iPod touch to go with your shiny new hotness. Not a bad deal at all. Even if you already have an iPod or an iPhone you could always give it to a friend- or your mother who went through otherworldly pain to give birth to you and put you through college, you bum.
