Anyone who’s spent time with Halo: Reach lately knows how long it can take to earn enough credits to buy some of the higher level gear. However, a few enterprising players discovered a way to wrack up big credits with minimal effort.  Specifically, an exploit was found in the way that daily challenges are recorded on Bungie’s servers allowing gamers to perform a veritable modem disconnect and repeat the unlock ad nauseum for up to a whopping 150,000 credits an hour in some cases.

Thankfully it appears this has been fixed with the latest fall update rolled out by Bungie today.  You can read more about it over at True Achievements, but suffice it to say we can all sleep a little sounder knowing we haven’t met the business end of the banhammer.
