The Pirate Bay Goes Under!…for About an Hour

So, for those of you that go cruising torrent sites, you’ll be saddened and shortly thereafter hilariously uplifted to hear that the RIAA succeeded in knocking The Pirate Bay offline, albeit for a very, very short time. You see, by threatening TPB’s web hosting with massive fines, the world’s most beloved pirates were forced to relocate very, very quickly.  Of course, not content to just laugh off the RIAA’s feeble attempts, they’ve responded in LOLCat fashion on their blog which you should check out immediately if you’re looking for a good laugh.  Bonus points if you spot the hidden message!

Oh Hai, LoLCat Bible Heres

Hai!So Nicole found this little nugget the other day and because I’m hopelessly addicted to internet culture I had to publish something about it.  For those of you who just aren’t satisfied with a online lolcat-translated version of the Bible, you’ll be happy to know that soon enough Amazon will begin offering an actual book version of it starting January 1st that you can put on the shelf next to your Halo Game Fuel and prominently displayed Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.  While I can’t say whether we’ll actually be picking it up, I figured if we’re here to keep you in touch with geek culture we couldn’t rightly leave it out.  Enjoy and have a happy in your heart!
