Alrighty, I’ve gone on at length since we’ve been going how much I love Silent Hill. I’m even on the twitters about it. However, what about before Silent Hill? What dark and terrible video game offerings gave me the willies me back then? I shall tell you- Sierra’s The Colonel’s Bequest that’s what.
I ran across this the other day at Geeks of Doom and while it’s apparently only available in YouTube format (below), you can watch/listen to more if you go to Akanakao’s YouTube Channel. It’s pretty trippy and I love 8-bit music, but I don’t think I could listen to it regularly lest it sully the memories of my youth…which, were really adaptations of memories of my father’s youth so, there that is.
