Oh wow. Just, wow. I just finished watching Thankskilling. It is a delightful piece of B-movie schlock that you absolutely must watch. I should’ve left this to The Monster Popcorn crew, but I just couldn’t help myself.
Now, I’m not going to review this on the standard scale, but rather I am going to use Thankskilling for the establishment of an entirely separate review system. Why? Because judging it by traditional standards would be akin to pitting a Big Mac against a Filet Mignon- yes, it’s technically worse but under the right circumstances it’s damn tasty.
Nicole and I are taking a short break from the site leading up to Thanksgiving and the weekend. However, the eagle eyed among you may have noticed we’ve periodically been taking some short breaks and back dating some of our posts. It’s not that we don’t love posting as we certainly do! However, we both have responsibilities to work, family, and each other and have to make sure we’re managing our time effectively. Keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving, we’d like to say thank you to all of you out there for sticking with us during our first year, despite the noticeable absence of podcasts lately. All of you, from fellow bloggers to friends and family, thanks for hanging out with us through our goofy antics. Nicole and I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and we’ll be back next week!
