So Nicole and I went to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with a bunch of our friends last night and while I can’t say I was overly impressed with the movie, I can say I was very impressed with what was waiting for us in the lobby. Set up outside the theater promoting their comic, Scarlet Veronica, were Jason Moody and Justin Greathouse. I’d never heard of Scarlet Veronica before, but Nicole noticed it immediately and we went over to check it out. They were both incredibly humble, down-to-earth guys and we had a great time just talking with them.
We bought four issues and while I haven’t had a chance to read them yet, I can say their artwork is phenomenal encompassing an incredibly distinct style characterized by bold lines and vibrant colors. I’d highly recommend you check out their site at http://www.scarletveronica.com. They were even kind enough to sign them for us and to top it all off did this awesome zombie charactiure of Nicole and I!
After all this the guys agreed to be on a future podcast or possibly just an email interview so we’ll be sure to put that up as soon as we can get together, but in the meantime you should definitely check out their site.
So I’m sure our episode titles become odder as time goes on, but maybe one day we’ll break away from mashing our subjects together.
